Keeping the weight off is one of the difficult things to do at this stage of your life. Finally you reached your goal, feel good about yourself but you are having a difficult time maintaining it. You are getting bored at the things that you do everyday. You need help to perk things up to be able to maintain your weight.
This is usually encountered by many at some point of their weight loss program. Everything is so redundant it does not bring excitement anymore. This is the time to really watch yourself. Remember that starting to slack off can lead to another and before you know it the pounds are creeping back up again. Remember that it is hard to lose the weight but so easy to gain it back.
There are ways that you can do to get the excitement back to your routine again and keep the boredom away. Take a look at the following:
1. Focus on what you have accomplished so far. Keep it and do not let it slide.
2. Get motivated by looking at your goal which is to maintain your weight.
3. Look at the bright side...this includes being able to do the things comfortably which you had a hard time before, feel good about yourself, gained confidence, wear clothes that you like, etc.
4. Plan on alternating your exercise routines. Do different kinds of exercises each day. Choose the one that you like most. Example: walking, biking, mountain climbing, dancing, gym, different video tapes, etc.
5. Decipher what kind of healthy foods you like and try to eat different kinds as you can. Leave no room on sliding back.
It is only you that can keep your weight. Get up, keep going and do your best every single day.
